For the third day, residents of the north and north-west of the Moscow region have been complaining en masse about the lack of electricity. People from at least 10 districts faced the problem. It's all due to sudden snow.
Residents of Istrinsky, Klinsky, Sergiev Posadsky, Dmitrovsky, Solnechnogorsky, Dolgoprudny and many other districts of the Moscow region write only to our proposal. Most have had no electricity since May 1st. People are sitting in the cold, they are not provided with water or generators, the food in the refrigerators has long since spoiled, the toilets are overflowing, the authorities are silent.
The day before, the head of the Moscow region, Andrei Vorobyov, reported that on the night of May 2, 26 thousand people were left without electricity. Throughout the region, 237 power lines and 4,400 transformer substations were de-energized. The Ministry of Emergency Situations added that power supply was disrupted in 11 districts. Due to wet snow and wind, ice appeared on the wires, trees fell, and power outages occurred. Rosseti promises to finally return light to homes tonight.
