A woman and a child died in a fire in the Yemelyanovsky district of the region

On the night of October 14, in the village of Areiskoye, Emelyanovsky district, Krasnoyarsk Territory, a tragic fire occurred in a private house along the street Lesnaya, where a family with two young children lived.

As reported by the Investigative Committee, pDuring the fire extinguishing, the bodies of a 36-year-old woman and her 3-year-old son were discovered with signs of extensive thermal effects of the fire. Another child, a 2-year-old girl, was rescued from the fire. The victim was hospitalized with signs of combustion product poisoning and is now in serious condition.

There are no details about the fire itself yet. It is only known that the report of the fire came from neighbors, and the head of the family was in another area at the time.

A criminal case has been initiated into the incident under Part 3 of Art. 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (causing death by negligence to two or more persons). “Investigators have inspected the scene of the incident and are taking the necessary steps to clarify all the circumstances. Forensic medical examinations have been ordered to establish the exact cause of death of the woman and child and the cause of the fire,” the Investigative Committee added.
