Child psychology specialist Vasilisa Bitsaeva spoke about effective ways to respond to emotional outbursts in children. According to the expert, aggressive behavior and whims are often a natural reaction to various irritants.

As Vsluh.ru reports, the psychologist recommends first identifying possible physiological causes of discomfort – fatigue, hunger or malaise. In addition, violent reactions may be associated with difficulties in communication when the child has not yet learned to express his feelings in words.

It is important for parents to calmly find out the reasons for tears and screams, helping children recognize and name their emotions. This approach contributes to the development of emotional intelligence.

The expert also advises offering the child help in solving the problem, demonstrating a willingness to share difficulties with him. This helps children feel supported and gradually learn the skills to independently overcome difficult situations without aggressive reactions.
