The 9th grade student from the Technological High School of Car Transport in Târgoviște, who physically assaulted a 72-year-old teacher in the classroom, was arrested for 30 days, according to a statement issued by the Dâmbovița County Police Inspectorate (IPJ), notes Agerpres.
“During today, October 10, the 15 -year -old, detained for 24 hours, based on the ordinance, by the police officers from the Târgovişte Municipality, under the coordination of a prosecutor within the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Târgovişte Court, was presented to the judge of rights and freedoms. It is shown in the IPJ Dâmboviţa statement.
Police are continuing their investigations in a criminal case for hitting or other violence, while investigators are trying to establish exactly the circumstances of the incident.
According to information in the investigation, the aggression took place on Monday, October 7, around 1:30 pm, during one hour of class.
“The research carried out highlighted that, on October 7, around 1:30 pm, the suspect, while he was inside a school in Târgovişte, would have entered a classroom, where an hour of class held by a 72-year-old teacher was held, and on the background of 72 years. transported to the hospital in order to provide medical care ”, IPJ Dâmboviţa announced.
The teacher, at the chair at the time of the attack, was urgently transported to the hospital for medical treatment. Its condition is stable, but the incident caused strong reactions in the local educational environment, especially in the context in which the student is minor and was not in the respective class.
The case brings to attention the problem of violence in schools, the theme being intensely debated in recent months by education unions, which require firmer measures to protect teachers and prevent aggression on teachers.
