In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a free social nanny service for large families may appear. The corresponding bill is considered in the Legislative Assembly of the region.

The Minister of Social Policy of the Territory Irina Pastukhova spoke at the Committee for the Protection of Health and Social Policy of Parliament, that now in the region there is a list of categories of citizens who can count on the free receipt of social services in a semi -stationary form and form of service at home. Until recently, there were no large parents in it. Now they plan to fix this omission, as social services can provide effective support to such families.

Also in the plans of the ministry to introduce a new service – the help of a social nanny. It will be launched as a pilot project next year in several territories.

A social nanny will be a specialist who will help with temporary care for children in large families. The service will be provided for free. It will help reduce the load on parents and give them the opportunity to do business or relax, knowing that the child is under supervision. The nannies will be selected with appropriate preparation for children to care, including children with special needs. They should be able to help in everyday tasks, such as feeding, hygiene and game.

Also, the draft law provides for other measures aimed at the priority of the preservation of circulatory relations. It is planned that parents who are limited in their rights or deprived of them will also receive the right to additional social services, but those who want to restore. After the entry into force of the law, they will be able to receive services of specialists of complex centers for free.

A number of other changes are also made. It is proposed to exclude as a condition for the provision of social services to the spouses of the dead participants in their re -marriage.

It will be brought into line with federal legislation and the norm according to which adoptive parents and adopted are equated in personal non -property and property rights and obligations to relatives by origin. In order to maintain the secrets of adoption, the term “adoptive parents” will be excluded from the document.

Ilya Zaitsev, chairman of the relevant committee, noted that all changes to the basic document are aimed at supporting families in the region: priority attention to large families, help in preserving blood families and overcoming difficult life situations.

The bill will be considered in the first reading at the nearest session on October 9th.
