In Krasnoyarsk, they promised to land hundreds of thousands of trees in a year

The season of landscaping and planting of trees started in Krasnoyarsk, the press service of the city hall said.

In the nursery of green construction controls, seedlings adapted to Siberian conditions are harvested. They are dug up using a Bobcat mini-loader with a special nozzle. It allows you to capture the tree so as not to damage its roots. Then the seedling is transferred to a metal basket, fixed with a burlap. This allows the tree to get to the place of landing intact.

The city hall noted that plants are selected taking into account the recommendations of scientists developed for each area, taking into account soils and climate. Trees are chosen above 1.5 meters, with a well -formed crown and root system. All plants are under warranty – if they do not take root, they are required to change them to a similar one.

The first large -scale seedlings traditionally landed during the citywide subbotnik. 20 LIPs are now decorated with Menzhinsky Boulevard, and 10 young apple trees appeared in the area of ​​Vavilov Street.

Plantings are also planned on the streets: May 9, Glinka, extreme, Mechnikov, Dubrovinsky, Totmin, as well as the Avenues named after the newspaper Krasnoyarsk Worker and the World. There will appear a Siberian apple tree, Hungarian lilac, mountain ash, a dash, ash, an apple tree of Nedzvetsky, a elm, birch, a bubble, a viburnum spirea.

This year, hundreds of thousands of trees are planning to plant in Krasnoyarsk. These are landings at the expense of budget funds, city enterprises, activists and caring citizens. Many shrubs, lawns and flower beds will appear this season as part of the improvement of parks, squares and embankments. This is provided for by the projects of transforming urban public spaces under the program “Formation of a comfortable urban environment” of the national project “Infrastructure for Life”.

The large amount of landscaping is also scheduled at objects that will be landscaped in preparation for the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk. These are the streets of Karatanov, January 9, Dzerzhinsky, Peresson and Chernyshevsky Square.

The trees that activists plant are not always of high quality, but they try to care for them. Immediately after landing, the district administrations are appointed responsible for watering and leaving from among volunteers. The adaptation of these plants often requires several seasons.
