63% of residents IFF is non -banking plastic cards – travel cards, work or university, cards of a resident, preferential certificates, subscriptions. And the vast majority of their owners – 58% – are interested in tying them to a regular bank card. A similar trend is observed in the country as a whole, a VTB survey showed on the eve of Finopolis 2025.

More than a quarter (27%) of the Siberians have a separate pass for entering work, and 23% – travel to public transport or a resident card. 11% has a preferential card, and every fifth (19%) of the respondents reported the presence of a card-insurance medical policy. Another 9% has a library card, and 9% carry a pass to a university or college.

For full functioning, many cards require the installation of individual applications to replenish the balance or bind benefits. 38% of the respondents installed pharmacy applications, another 21% use a special application to replenish the travel card. 37% of Siberia residents have no mobile applications related to non -banking plastic cards.

“The vast majority of Russians would like to make a bank card not only with a payment tool, but also by travel, a job or to a university, a preferential certificate, etc. Such services are already in the market, ”says the head of the retail business product, the senior vice president, head of the VTB retail business department Alexei Khundorzin.
