During Monday's meeting in Warsaw, ministers discussed joint actions against Russian hybrid operations on the eastern borders and in the Baltic Sea. Sikorski pointed out that the key area of interest for Poland and Finland is countering the “shadow fleet”, with which Russia is trying to avoid sanctions while threatening environmental and maritime security.

The head of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the actions taken so far in this matter should be a clear signal to Moscow. At the same time, he added that Poland and Finland would not accept sabotage activities targeting critical infrastructure or the risk of ecological disasters in the Baltic Sea.
