Everyone likes clean floors when linoleum shines, as after professional cleaning. But often he grows quickly, becomes matte and loses gloss.
Experienced housewives found a method that will help return purity to linoleum without long rubbing and household chemicals. They use a mixture of vinegar and linseed oil. These 2 products return the floor freshness and shine at a time.
How to apply
- Mix vinegar and linseed oil in a ratio of 1: 1.
- Apply the solution to the floor with a soft rag.
- Let it dry naturally – and the floor will shine.
Vinegar cleanses and degreases the surface, and linseed oil creates the finest protective film, which gives the coating an elastic shine and dust resistance.
How to remove old spots from linoleum
- In case of light pollution, dilute 100 g of grated laundry soap in a liter of warm water and wipe the spot. This is enough in 9 out of 10 cases.
- For the most stubborn traces, mix 1 tsp. liquid soap, 200 ml of vodka and 1 liter of water. Apply the solution, wait a couple of minutes and gently rub with a soft sponge. After – be sure to rinse with clean water and wipe dry.
When the surface dries, that very soft shine will appear, as if linoleum had just been put.
