Law enforcement officers noted that the incident occurred on Heroev Avenue Kharkov (industrial district).
“An eyewitness turned to the police and said that he allegedly saw a man fell into the sewer well in the supermarket parking lot, and then he heard a scream for help. Emergency civil service workers were called to the place, who searched for and took out the body of a man,” the statement said.
According to police, a man who fell into the sewer hatch choked.
Pre -trial investigation has begun under Part 2 of Art. 272 (violation of safety rules when performing work with increased danger) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
