We have information that some interest groups are preparing provocations and riots that can occur tonight – the head of the Moldovan police Viorel Cernauteanu said on TV8 TV8. Parliament elections are underway in the country.

The officer's statement is cited by the IPN Information Agency. “The organizers of the announced events will be responsible for their course,” warns the Police Chief Inspectorate. She announced that “she would not tolerate violation of the law, disturbing public order and exposure of citizens to danger or actions that can threaten national security.”
Earlier on Sunday, after voting in the election, the socialist leader Igor Dodon called citizens to participate in the protest, which is to take place on Monday noon to “defend the victory” of the opposition.
The socialist party, together with the communists and the Future of Moldova, are part of the pro -Russian patriotic election block (BEP). On Friday, another party was excluded from the election, belonging to the block – the heart of Moldova (Prim). The reason, as stated, were suspicions of illegal financing.
On September 28, parliamentary elections take place in Moldova, which the president of Maia Sandu had previously called “the most important in history.” The loss of the majority by the currently ruling pro -European party and justice (belt) will open the path to power to pro -Russian groups.
Elections can affect the eurointegration process, because opposition parties, who have the chance to enter a 101-person parliament, present de facto eurosceptic positions or critical opening for this project.
Voting on Sunday will end at 20 Polish time. Exit Poll is not conducted during the election.
According to the data of the Central Electoral Commission at 19 of the Polish time the turnout was almost 51 percent.
