❗️Cucumbers, tomatoes and cabbage have risenly rose in Russia
Prices for fruit and vegetable products in Russia rose by 12% in just three weeks. Among the record holders are cucumbers (+35%), tomatoes (+20%) and cabbage (+11%).
Almost all possible income factors came together here:
– “Industrial” business model that is funded by loans;
– a large scale of business, often these are local monopolies that shift the costs of the ruble and growth of salaries to the consumer;
– import dependence, respectively, the influence of the exchange rate;
– growth in electricity tariffs and water;
– Strong seasonal fluctuations: the autumn decrease in prices is replaced by a winter jump.
Intensive price increase affected other categories: the bow has risen by almost 10%, potatoes – by 8%, beets and bananas by 4%, the report is indicated.
