The prime minister of Moldova, about the Russian influence in elections: “many people were scared to associate the EU”

Moldovan Prime Minister Dorin Recean told Digi 24 that Russia's propaganda in Moldova was aimed at associating the European Union with the war, so many people are scared. Recean said that, on the contrary, a success of the step in the Sunday elections will have the effect of entering the Republic of Moldova, which will ensure the peace and security of the country since 2028.
Dorin Recean said that the Chisinau authorities are ready to react if the pro-Russian forces will try to cause post-electoral turbulence.
“The Russian Federation in the Alliance with those in criminal and criminal groups have allied themselves to give an electoral state in Moldova. The state institutions are prepared for any destabilization scenario, we already have a lot of experience,” said the Chisinau Government.

Recean said that, besides the response of the authorities to the challenges, the best response that Moldovans can give is to come to the ballot box, including a Moldovan citizens in Romania who have polling stations in most large cities.
The prime minister also appealed to a vote for the step, the ruling party, which “has the ability to house the Republic of Moldova in peace and security in the European Union. This is the only way for us to defeat the Republic of Moldova to determine its future.”

“We do not fight with electoral competitors, but with the Russian Federation who put on propaganda cannons, they scared many people by associating the European Union with this war, it is very important to vote,” concluded Dorin Recean.
Surveys show that only four formations have real chances of sending their representatives to the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova after the September 28 elections. It is about step, the alliance around the socialist Igor Dodon, Usatîi's party and the alliance of the mayor of Chisinau, Ion Ceban. But polls also show that none of these formations can do the majority in Parliament alone. At the same time, the party leaders exclude the variant of the formation of governance coalitions after September 28. Under these conditions, the anticipated elections are not excluded.
