Room in the Gaza Strip? Trump: I think we have an agreement on the end of the war

US President Donald Trump said on Friday that he thought that the agreement on the end of the war in the Gaza Strip was agreed or is very close to finalization. He announced that the agreement would lead to the end of the war and releasing hostages.

– I think we have a Gaza agreement, we are very close to the agreement – Trump told journalists before departure to the Ryder Cup in New York. – I think this is an agreement that will restore hostages, it will be an agreement that will end the war (…) we will have peace – he added.

Trump did not provide details of the potential contract, but stated that it would be the eighth war he would end. (PAP)
