As the Ministry of National Education explains, thanks to the Mobatwater Junior application available in the mobile, all students in Poland – nearly five million children and young people – gain the opportunity to use the digital school ID. Until June 2025, this function was only available for approx. 180 thousand. students, mainly from institutions cooperating with the Ministry of Digitization.
Until now, the digital ID could be added on one device, which meant that it was usually used by a student or one of his parents. Thanks to the introduced changes, this solution becomes more accessible and flexible – including all schools and enabling wider use of the document.
Now the school ID can be added independently on five mobile devices – A student, parents or guardians, so that he is at hand in every situation. The Mobching Junior was also adapted linguistically, aesthetically and functionally to the needs of younger users who have now received their own space in the most popular government application.
Facilitating for five million people. A new service in the MOBKITNIA application
The Ministry of Digitization and the Central Information Technology Center in cooperation with the Ministry of National Education and the Information Technology Center of Education is responsible for implementing the solution. As part of cooperation, the institutions have jointly prepared, among others, a simple process of generating QR codes by students on the ZPE website, i.e. an integrated educational platform.

To add a school ID in the Junior mobile, you need a QR code provided by an educational institution through an integrated educational platform (ZPE).

However, if the student's parent or guardian wants to add his school ID in his MOBKitan application, he should enter the Documents section and the list available should choose a school ID, and then scan the QR code on the student's ZPE, to download a digital document. In the case of more children, the user can add a school ID to each of them in their application. This is a significant change in relation to the solution that has been operating so far.
As the Education Ministry explains, the Mobjat Junior is not only a digital school ID, but the beginning of work on subsequent solutions for young users that will allow them to use a government application in everyday life more and more.
