Marius Lăcătuș and Claudiu Tudor, the president of the Petrolul club, clashed from a distance after a telephone intervention, live on TV, by the team official from Ploiesti.

Claudiu Tudor: “If we had money from MApN, we would fight in the European cups!”
The claims of the star legend did not sit well with Tudor. During the commercial break, he sent a message to the moderator Radu Naum, a reference to the club that Lăcătuș supports, where he played and coached, Steaua Bucharest:
“If we had new money from the Ministry of Defense, we would compete in European cups. Some managed to promote from the fourth league with private money.”

Confronted with these statements, Lăcătuș replied harshly:
“What, did what I said bother you? I think it bothered you that I said if a private company has 6 million in debt, it's not well managed.
If this bothered Mr. President Claudiu Tudor, you should know that I do not mind. I have a very peaceful sleep.
By the way, he said that he does not enter into contradictory discussions, that he does not respond, that they are a different club. He was probably bothered by what I said, how I commented. It's strictly his problem. I think so he should take care of the team more and the real problems there, which he said.”
