Zbigniew Ziobro and Mateusz Morawiecki argued about which of them harmed PiS in the election; You took second place ex aequo – this is how Prime Minister Donald Tusk commented on the recent media exchange of sentences between the former Minister of Justice and former prime minister in the United Right government.

On Friday, in the “Official Zero” program on YouTube Morawiecki – who was the head of government in 2017–2023 – he was asked how long PiS would rule, if not for Zbigniew Ziobro. Morawiecki replied that “alternative history is (…) very interesting because no one will ever check it.” – However, I can say: yes, we were in a deep dispute – he noted. In his opinion, this dispute was unnecessary and certainly did not contribute to the improvement of PiS quotations. – How would someone notified this department? I don't know – he added.
He explained that he “regret” to the head of MS that the reform of the judiciary “does not go as much as he could go.” He recalled actions taken by the then deputy ministers of health and digitization – Janusz Cieszyński and Adam Andruszkiewicz. -ten times more complicated processes: e-prescriptions, e-release, e-mailing, patient's online account, mobs. (…) Everything was done – said Morawiecki, adding that in the activities of the then MS he did not see “so great progress”.
Ziobro referred to the words of the former prime minister on Sunday X. He agreed with Morawiecki's statement about the dispute between them. – Unlike you, I have never agreed to the green order, including exacerbation of the climate package, castration of the judicial reforms, and conditionability mechanism – that is, the mechanism of blackmail towards Poland. I also did not agree to KPO with EU taxes and “stones at the neck” of our economy – enumerated Ziobro, turning to Morawiecki. – Today you suddenly cut yourself off from the policy, which you as the prime minister forced yourself, and you are trying to blame me and sovereign Poland for an election defeat again – he pointed out, adding that “In the civilized world, the prime minister takes responsibility for failure. “
Ziobro also wrote that since the former head of government is still returning to the reasons for losing power and “sheds responsibility on others”, he is ready to take with Morawiecki a “public debate about the past and the future.”
Prime Minister Donald Tusk referred to this exchange of the sentences of both politicians on Monday.
“Ziobro and Morawiecki quarreled about which of them harmed PiS in the election more. As an objective expert, I can reconcile you: you took the second place ex aequo. The winner is one”-wrote the head of government on Platform X.
In the parliamentary elections, which took place in 2023, Law and Justice won 194 seats in the Sejm, KO – 157, third road – 65, New Left – 26, Confederation – 18. The other groups did not exceed the electoral threshold. In November 2023, after the parliamentary elections, the Civic Coalition, Poland 2050, the Polish People's Party and the New Left signed a coalition agreement.
In 2024, during the Congress in Przysucha, there was a merger founded by Zbigniew Ziobra of sovereign Poland and Law and Justice. (PAP)
