The Ukrainian forces destroyed the stocks of ammunition and Russian drones in two separate attacks, made in the territories of Ukraine under occupation, in August and September, announced on Monday, September 22, the General Staff of the Kiev Army.

The attacks aimed to “disturb the Russian occupation plans,” said the army, in the context in which Moscow forces are trying to advance in eastern Ukraine, according to The Kyiv Independent.

A Russian S-400 anti-aircraft defense system was also hit in the Kaluga region in western Russia, Ukrainian forces of special operations announced on Monday.

Ukrainian attack drones hit a S-400 launcher and a radar system after the special forces detected the battery on the night of September 5, said the forces of special operations.

According to the General Staff, the Ukrainian group of DNIPRO forces also hit a Russian drone distribution hub on August 29, destroying “massive stocks” of unanswered aircraft (UAVs).

The Russians were trying through that hub to distribute over 19,000 drones – including Molniya, Boomerang, Vandal Novgorodsky and Gorynych – and equipment related to forces in the occupied territories of the Donetk region.

Separately, the Ukrainian army and the Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) hit a ammunition deposit of Russian forces in the Luhansk region, largely occupied, the General Staff announced.

The attack took place after the Russian trucks delivered thousands of mines, grenades, tanks, artillery supplies and other types of ammunition for Russian forces near the Bohdanivka occupied locality, located in the Luhansk region.

The ammunition was intended for the supply of the 17 Tanks regiment within the 70th motorized infantry division, according to the statement sent by the Ukrainian army leadership.

“Russian vehicles were destroyed with ammunition,” the General Staff added. The type of weapons used in these attacks has not been specified.

During the war, Ukrainian forces have repeatedly hit Russian military objectives and strategic industrial facilities, through long -range drones and rockets, in an effort to affect Moscow's offensive operations.

Earlier during Monday, the Ukrainian military spy (GUR) spy service announced that Ukrainian forces hit two Russian amphibians Be-12 Chayka in the Crimea Peninsula, occupied since 2014. The attack was made on September 21 by the special Unit Prymary (“Ghosts”). “It is the first attack on a Be-12 in history,” Gur said. The Prymary unit has so far been responsible for a series of successful drones against Russian military objectives.
