Rapid Bucharest was defeated with 2-1 by Hermannstadt, on Sunday evening, in Giulești, in the 10th stage of the Romanian Superliga.
Dobre opened the scoring for the hosts in the 59th minute, but Hermannstadt restored the equality in the 79th minute, through the goal of the newly entered Sergiu Buș, and hit the extensions, through Chițu (90+3`).
For Rapid is the first failure of the season. Costel Gâlcă's team missed the chance to approach at a point in Craiova, and at this moment occupies the 3rd place, on equal points with FC Botosani.
Until Giulești was imposed, Hermannstadt had won a single match in nine rounds (1-0 with Constanța Lighthouse on August 25).
In the next stage, Rapid will play on the oil field in the so-called “Primvs Derby”, while Hermannstadt will receive the visit of FC Arges, a band that showed very well in the championship.
