More than 300 employees from the Ministry of Internal Affairs facilitated the evacuation of residents from Oleshky, according to Minister Vihivskyi. Border guards ensured processing and were among the first to welcome evacuees to Ukraine with the message, “Welcome to Ukraine!” Rescue teams set up tents where individuals could warm up and rest. Police escorted columns of buses and ambulances, providing assistance to individuals with limited mobility at hospitals. Two trucks from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine transported belongings and pets.
