Iwan Fedorov Evaluates Infrastructure Readiness in Western Ukraine

Iwan Fedorov, along with his team, recently concluded a work trip to the Zhytomyr, Rivne, Lviv, and Volyn regions, where they assessed the readiness of road infrastructure for winter conditions and the status of energy protection measures. Over the course of the week, they focused on key issues including:

  • Winter Preparedness: All road services must ensure proper maintenance of roads ahead of worsening weather conditions, which is a top priority for regional teams.
  • Energy Protection: During the trip, Fedorov visited energy facilities to review the progress of protective operations being implemented. Discussions were held regarding interagency cooperation necessary to expedite work both during the day and at night.
  • Economic Logistics Development: A primary focus for the Agency includes expanding border crossing points, establishing service zones, and increasing the capacity of customs posts. Additionally, the modernization of international and national highways is essential.

As a result of the trip, specific issues requiring further coordination were identified along with tasks for regional recovery services. Fedorov also expressed gratitude to the regional recovery service teams for their daily efforts.
