Ukraine Requires 60-Day Ceasefire for Election Preparations, Says Zelensky
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has asserted that if international partners insist on holding elections before the war concludes, Ukraine will require at least 60 days of ceasefire. This period is essential for the preparation of legislative changes and the establishment of voting infrastructure. Furthermore, Zelensky indicated that once the war is over, an additional six months will be necessary for the country to organize the elections effectively. He also emphasized the importance of allowing Ukrainian military personnel to participate in the voting process.
