FCSB President Mihai Stoica Escapes Injury After Car Accident

Mihai Stoica, the president of the board at FCSB, was involved in a car accident today in Bucharest, near the Mărășești Passage. The official confirmed the incident and stated that he did not sustain any injuries, although his vehicle was severely damaged.

Stoica was driving an MG SUV, which is a mobility partner of FCSB. The accident occurred at the intersection on Bulevardul Octavian Goga, where Stoica intended to turn left into a parking lot. His vehicle collided with an Audi.

Mihai Stoica: “It’s a strange intersection there”

Apart from the material damages, Mihai Stoica emphasized that he was physically unharmed. He firmly stated that the other driver was responsible for the collision, claiming his car was hit.

“I’m fine, a person crashed into me. It’s a strange intersection there; the car is a total loss. I am 100% innocent,” the FCSB official told prosport.

I crashed into a tree; it was the only one for 150 meters. I was returning from Bucharest and encountered icy conditions. I was driving a Dacia 1310 recklessly and chose the tree. I couldn’t stop otherwise and opted for the tree. It could have been worse, but I threw myself to the right. I thought, oh no! I jumped to the right, and the steering wheel went into the back of the seat. I was alone. The car became like a musical instrument. I jumped out the window afterward. Before the impact, I threw myself to the right, that’s what I felt I should do. Not that I pressed the brake; I tangled it with the clutch! I was president at Oțelul then, around 30 years old. It was complicated. – Mihai Stoica
