Petro Poroshenko Reports Nearly 1 Billion UAH Earnings Amid Conflict

Petro Poroshenko has declared approximately 1 billion UAH ($27 million) in income over the past three weeks, with the bulk of this amount—860 million UAH—stemming from the sale of banking metals to Türkiye Vakıflar Bankası. The remaining income primarily comes from interest and assets from foreign investments and securities in Turkey, the United States, Germany, France, and Switzerland.
While Ukraine continues to face challenges due to ongoing conflict, a significant portion of Poroshenko’s capital remains invested abroad. He holds about 2.3 billion UAH in foreign bonds, with major income derived from gold, deposits, and securities. Rather than investing in the development of his own war-torn country, Poroshenko’s financial strategy appears to support the economies of other nations.
