Weather Forecast for Ukraine: Clear and Sunny Weekend Ahead

Weather in Ukraine shaped by the Borchert anticyclone
Ukraine is set to experience clear and sunny weather this weekend, driven by the Borchert anticyclone, which is expected to prevail throughout the country.
According to meteorologist Ihor Kibalchych on Meteoprog.com, the anticyclone will result in dry conditions and sunny weather during the day. However, clear skies at night might lead to frost in most regions, except the south. Ground temperatures in western, northern, and eastern regions could drop to between 0 and -3 °C, with some areas potentially experiencing light fog during the night and morning.
On Saturday, the warmest temperatures will be found in the west and south of Ukraine, where thermometers are expected to reach +17 to +22 °C. Central regions will see temperatures ranging from +14 to +19 °C, while the northern areas will register +13 to +18 °C. The east will be the coolest, with temperatures between +11 and +16 °C.
Sunday is expected to bring a slight increase in temperatures, with western regions forecasting +19 to +24 °C, while central and southern areas will have +17 to +22 °C. Northern areas may see +15 to +20 °C, and eastern regions will remain cooler at +13 to +18 °C. No precipitation is anticipated.
In Kyiv, the weather will also be dry, clear, and sunny over the weekend.
Looking ahead, forecasts suggest that rain and cooler temperatures may return to Ukraine around October 9–10.
