Russia Plans Major Strike on Energy Infrastructure with Up to 1000 Attacks
Russia is preparing for a major offensive aimed at its energy infrastructure, with reports indicating plans for up to 1000 missile and drone attacks. According to intercepted plans reported by the New York Times, the targets will include electrical substations, hydroelectric plants, and thermal power stations. The most concerning aspect of this plan is the intended strikes on distribution nodes near Rivne, South Ukraine, and Khmelnytskyi nuclear power plants.
Main cities such as Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Odessa have been identified as primary targets, with expectations to reduce power supply in these areas by 90%. Additionally, heating supplies are anticipated to be cut by 90%, severely disrupting local sewage systems.
