The Russian parliamentary elections, held from Friday to Sunday, have been condemned by the Council of Europe as a “sham that will lead to an artificial parliament”. The Council’s Platform for Dialogue with Russian Democratic Forces warned that these elections should not be recognized by the international community, according to AFP reports.
