The Ukrainian Parliament has taken a significant step toward regulating excessive noise from vehicles by approving a bill in its first reading. Under the proposed law, individuals causing strong noise pollution from transportation will face a fine of 17,000 UAH. Repeat offenders could incur a penalty of 34,000 UAH and risk losing their driving privileges for a period ranging from three to six months.
