Starting today, specially equipped police patrols known as “Phantoms” will operate in Kyiv and the surrounding region. These units are designed to monitor traffic violations across all directions of vehicle movement. Drivers will receive notifications about any infractions via the Diia app or their personal accounts. If Phantom inspectors observe serious violations, such as running a red light, they will respond immediately.
