The team, managed by Vincent Kompany, took charge right from the start and opened the scoring in the 21st minute with a goal from Dayot Upamecano, assisted by Joshua Kimmich. Bayern played cautiously in the first half, leading 1-0 at halftime.

Stuttgart equalized with a goal from Josha Vagnoman in the 52nd minute, but this sparked a rapid response from the Bavarians. Just three minutes later, Michael Olise restored Bayern’s lead. Vagnoman then experienced a moment to forget, scoring an own goal in the 57th minute.

Bayern continued to press for more goals, and despite having a fourth goal from Olise disallowed for offside in the 63rd minute, they added to their tally in the 82nd minute when Aleksandar Pavlovic scored accurately. The final score was confirmed in stoppage time when Luis Diaz found the net in the 90+2 minute, sealing the match at 5-1.

New summer signing Ismael Saibari also made his Bundesliga debut, coming off the bench for Brown in the 61st minute and providing assists for both of Bayern’s goals shortly after his arrival. Saibari had previously featured in the Supercup, where Bayern triumphed 2-1 against Borussia Dortmund.

Looking ahead, Bayern’s next match will be in the DFB-Pokal against Osnabruck, scheduled for September 2 at 21:45. In Bundesliga matchday 2, Bayern will face Schalke on September 5 at 19:30.
