A former brigade commander of the Territorial Defense in Kyiv Region has been accused of embezzling 12 million Hryvnias intended for FPV drones to be used in the Kharkiv area. According to the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), the commander collaborated with three accomplices in this fraudulent scheme. The military personnel did not receive any drones, and the perpetrators forged acceptance certificates while compelling subordinates to falsely report non-existent equipment as “lost in combat.” All individuals involved in the scheme have been detained.
