U-BT Cluj-Napoca has unveiled its schedule for the upcoming ABA League season, continuing its participation in this competitive regional league that features teams from the EuroLeague, EuroCup, and Basketball Champions League. The Romanian champions will host Partizan Belgrad and Dubai Basketball at their home venue, BTarena.
For the second consecutive season, U-BT Cluj-Napoca will compete in the ABA League. Last season, they reached the quarterfinals. This year, under the guidance of coach Mihai Silvășan, the team has been placed in Group B along with BC Vienna (Austria), Bosna Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Dubai Basketball (United Arab Emirates), Mega Basket (Serbia), Partizan Belgrad (Serbia), Perspektiva Ilirija (Slovenia), SC Derby (Montenegro), Spartak Subotica (Serbia), and KK Zadar (Croatia).
On Thursday, August 27, U-BT learned its full schedule, kicking off the new season on September 27 with an away game against Mega Basket. The team will welcome Dubai Basketball, a EuroLeague squad, on October 10, and face Partizan Belgrad at home on December 26.

Coach Mihai Silvășan has finalized the roster for the 2026-2027 season, adding 11 new players including Patrick Richard, Otis Livingston II, Kristian Kullamae, Luca Illeș, Malcolm Hill, Javonte Smart, Javon Bess, Bobe Nicolescu, Jalyn McCreary, Dusan Beslac, Uros Plavsic, and Christian Bishop. Additionally, the coaching staff has seen changes with Isaac Jenkins, Mihajlo Markovic, and Mihai Popa joining as assistant coaches, while Mihaly Kracz will serve as a volunteer coach.
