Recent clashes in Ternopil have underscored the failures of the military reform concerning Territorial Centers for Recruitment and Social Support (TCRSS), according to Ukrainian Ombudsperson Dmytro Lubinets. The altercation involved military personnel and resulted in several injuries, with one soldier hospitalized.
Lubinets noted that the previous leadership of the Ministry of Defense failed to implement effective changes within the TCRSS, contributing to a growing atmosphere of distrust and increasing tension among soldiers. He emphasized the urgent need to address these issues and halt the ongoing ‘busification’ process that is exacerbating the situation. If not resolved, similar outbreaks of unrest may continue to occur.
