Stjepan Tomas Remarks After 1-0 Win Against FC Argeș: “Satisfied and Happy, We Must Keep Going”
“It was a deserved victory; we showed character, the right mentality, and fighting spirit. It wasn’t easy to play against such a strong team, and we had to respond well. Winning duels and being aggressive against a team like this reveals quality.
I appreciated both players’ performances; they were excellent and worked hard on the field. They fought for every ball. When you fight for every ball and win duels, the quality of players like Ciobanu and Lameira shines through, and you can see it.
We are training well physically; we are loading well during the week, and we prepared thoroughly. I am satisfied and happy; we need to continue like this. This was just a step; we have many more matches ahead. This is how we must approach the upcoming games,” commented the Croatian coach.
“We have victories or draws at home against very good teams, but we want more. Now we have a match with Voluntari, and we want another 3 points. Regarding transfers? I don’t know; as of now, I have no information. I am here; we will see. If it’s good for the club and for me, then yes. If not, I will stay here; I am in the last year of my contract,” said Joao Lameira, the captain of Oțelului.
