A Ukrainian soldier has tragically lost his life not to Russian gunfire on the front lines but at the hands of another Ukrainian in a peaceful street of his hometown. This incident was commented on by the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (TCRSS), which emphasized the deep pain felt by the military community.
“While our troops are daily falling by the hands of the Russian enemy, a death caused by a fellow citizen is particularly cynical and painful. Such actions are inexcusable. Those responsible for the attack will be identified and held accountable. No assault on a serviceman or law enforcement officer will go unpunished,” the TCRSS stated.
