Authorities are investigating an incident in which a woman allegedly assaulted an 11-year-old boy after he picked a flower from a public flowerbed in the Kyiv region. The incident was captured on video and circulated on social media.
According to preliminary reports, the boy plucked the flower, prompting a 48-year-old local resident to verbally abuse him before striking him several times on the head.
The police have initiated a pre-trial investigation under Part 1 of Article 126 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which addresses assault and battery. They are currently working to establish all the circumstances surrounding the incident.
