Kosovo Removes Support Symbols for Ukraine Following Zelensky’s Independence Stance

Kosovo’s Foreign Minister has announced that Pristina will continue to defend Ukraine’s sovereignty but is urging Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to rethink his stance on Kosovo’s independence. This statement comes after the capital, Pristina, took down a large banner that had symbolized support for Ukraine in its ongoing conflict with Russia for the past four years. The move reflects tensions following Zelensky’s recent reaffirmation that he does not recognize Kosovo’s independence.
