Adel Bettaieb, a 29-year-old left winger, has officially signed with Esperance Tunis, a club managed by Romanian coach Laurențiu Reghecampf. This move follows an impressive season at FC Argeș, where Bettaieb scored 12 goals and provided 5 assists in 43 appearances.
The Tunisian-born player arrived in Romanian football in January 2024, making the switch from Poli Iași to U Cluj before joining FC Argeș. Despite efforts from FC Argeș to extend his contract, Bettaieb opted for a new challenge.

Now a free agent, Bettaieb accepted an offer from Esperance Tunis, the vice-champions of Tunisia. He has signed a two-year deal, marking his first professional experience in his country of origin.
