David Beckham Earns Over €22 Million at 2026 World Cup

David Beckham, a prominent figure at the 2026 World Cup, has reportedly earned over €22 million through lucrative advertising contracts during the tournament, according to market analysts.
While Spain clinched the championship title, Beckham made headlines off the field with his significant earnings, as noted by News.ro.
As highlighted by the British publication The Mirror, the former England captain garnered an impressive £19 million (approximately €22.258 million) during the 2026 World Cup, held from June 11 to July 19 across the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
This substantial amount comes from advertising deals with 11 brands that enlisted him for their World Cup-related campaigns: Adidas, Bank of America, EA Sports, Home Depot, Lay’s, Lenovo, McDonald’s, Ninja Kitchen, Pepsi, Stella Artois, and Verizon.
“Despite facing criticism, international brands clearly believe that his family name, social media presence, and global fame retain considerable marketing value at events watched by billions. The advertising, combined with increased visibility, will further strengthen and elevate his brand value,” stated Nick Ede, a branding and culture expert, in an interview with The Sun.
“Brands are willing to spend tens of millions to secure the services of celebrities who can instantly capture attention during commercial breaks, knowing they reach a billion-strong audience,” Ede added.
Beckham, co-owner of Inter Miami—where Lionel Messi currently plays—attended several matches during the competition and holds significant influence in the United States.
