The intention of the Russian troops was to infiltrate behind Ukrainian lines without engaging in direct combat. Their mission reportedly involved locating drone crews, gathering intelligence, and placing Russian flags in areas to create propaganda footage of alleged captured villages.
However, the operation took an unexpected turn when the Ukrainian fighters conducted a sweep, resulting in the capture of the 64 occupiers.
