The World Cup champions arrived back in Spain on Monday, touching down at Barajas Airport in Madrid around 14:30 local time. Captain Rodri stepped off the plane holding the trophy aloft while wearing the champion’s medal, and the entire delegation posed with the cup amid hundreds of fans dressed in national team jerseys and waving Spanish flags in Terminal 4.
Following their arrival, the champions will be received at the Zarzuela Palace by King Felipe and Queen Letizia, after which they will meet with Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez at the Moncloa Palace. A grand parade is scheduled to commence around 19:00, centering on Plaza de Cibeles, where additional musical events are planned.

Officials anticipate a massive turnout, with over a million people expected to join in the celebration of a team that the mayor remarked, during a local radio interview, “will remain forever in our memories.”
