Ukrainian Woman Suspected in Attempted Attack on Businessman in Monaco

A Ukrainian woman is at the center of an investigation following an explosion targeting businessman Yermolaev in Monaco. According to police documents, she may have disguised herself as a man while tailing Yermolaev and his associates. Her identity has been confirmed, prompting international collaboration for her apprehension. Reports indicate she is currently located in a European country outside Monaco and France.
Le Figaro reports that the suspect is a 30-year-old Ukrainian citizen residing in Germany. Investigators believe she conducted reconnaissance before the explosion, tracking Yermolaev and others who were targeted. The woman allegedly placed an explosive device at the entrance to a building and activated it remotely as Yermolaev’s companion passed by.
Nice-Matin identifies the suspect as Anna Nasobina, who has reportedly sustained severe injuries, including the loss of both legs. She is currently in critical condition at a hospital in Nice.
According to The Sun, Nasobina, aged 46, lives in London and has a 13-year-old son with Yermolaev, who was also injured in the explosion. Originally from Dnipro, she has engaged in cultural and legal projects in London and is not Yermolaev’s wife.
