Zelensky Declares Putin Will Lose War in Ukraine

Zelensky comments on Putin’s lack of understanding of Ukraine
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin is attempting to project an image of victory to his domestic audience by targeting civilian infrastructure, including residential buildings, hospitals, schools, universities, logistics centers, and critical infrastructure.
Zelensky emphasized that the real situation for Russia is dire, citing issues with logistics, ammunition supplies, and energy products, particularly gasoline and diesel. He noted that Russia is now compelled to import energy resources, suggesting a significant decline.
The president highlighted Ukraine’s military successes and operations in Crimea, which complicate the Kremlin’s narrative for its population.
Zelensky remarked that Putin has a distorted perception of Ukraine and the occupied territories, relying solely on reports from subordinates. He asserted, “Moscow Island can only compel him to stop the war. His claims of knowing and loving Crimea are lies, just as he knows the east of our state only through his officers’ reports. He is fighting to show he is winning, but there are no victories. There will be no victories,” said Zelensky in his comments.
In discussing the Kremlin’s strikes, Zelensky described them as attempts to intimidate both Ukrainians and international partners, but he asserted this will not alter the course of the war.
