The fifth Beach Volleyball Cup took place in the Central District of Krasnoyarsk. This year the tournament brought together 100 teams. This was reported to the city administration.
Participants from Krasnoyarsk, Achinsk, Nazarovo, Sosnovoborsk, Uzhur and Khakassia came to the competition. The tournament became the longest in its history. The first matches started at 9:00, and the final games ended only at 22:00. In total, the sports festival lasted 13 hours.
“I take part in this tournament every year and it surprises me every time. Great organization, great atmosphere, and this year there’s also a DJ. This Cup is one of the best summer events in the city,” said competition participant Pavel Babkin.
The Beach Volleyball Cup has been held in the Central Region for five years now. During this time, it has grown from a small tournament into a major summer event that brings together amateur and professional players from different cities. Participation for teams is traditionally free.
