Rapid officially introduced Mohammed Kamara (28 years old), the left winger who arrived from CFR Cluj.

The Liberian footballer became the second footballer officially featured by Rapid today, after midfielder Vladan Bubanja. He signed a contract with Giulești valid for two seasons.

He quickly transferred Mohammed Kamara

“Mohammed Kamara is a speedster! The Liberian international has signed a two-year contract with our club.

Welcome to Giulesti and good luck in the Rapid jersey!”, appears in the press release issued by Rapid.

Mohammed Kamara arrived in Romania in 2024. CFR Cluj brought him as a free contract player, after the footballer had concluded his contract with Hapoel Haifa. In his first season at the club, he was a constant under the leadership of Dan Petrescu: he played 37 matches, scored 11 goals and provided a decisive assist.

The footballer suffered a very serious injury at the beginning of last season and could not help Cluj at all in the last season. He ticked only 5 games.

We have to check what situation he is in because he had the injury and we have to see what situation he is in. You can't help but say question marks. I had identical injuries to other footballers: to Rrahmani, whom I sold for 5 million, and to Papeau.

If things turn out OK… We got the results, but we have to interpret them. We went to several doctors just to be sure. If everything goes well, we sign. It would be important that they catch all the training from the beginning. He is currently fit.
