In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, drugs worth 4 million rubles were seized from a pawnbroker

In Lesosibirsk, police seized almost 900 grams of synthetic drugs from illegal trafficking. This was reported to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Employees of the drug control department detained a 24-year-old resident of Krasnoyarsk. The young man had no previous convictions. According to the police, bundles of substances were found on the detainee’s person and in his car. The examination showed that they contained mephedrone with a total weight of more than 250 grams and the narcotic drug PVP weighing more than 182 grams.
Later, in the rented apartment of the pawnbroker in Krasnoyarsk, law enforcement officers found more than 460 grams of mephedrone. Police established that the man planned to distribute the drugs into hiding places for further contactless sale. The retail value of the seized lot was estimated at more than 4 million rubles.
Investigators opened a criminal case for attempted illegal drug sales. The maximum punishment under the article provides for up to life imprisonment. The defendant was taken into custody.
