The next holiday non-working day awaits Russians in November

June 14 11:40

The next non-working weekday holiday awaits Russians in November; before that, all working weeks will be full. Yaroslav Nilov, head of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs, told TASS about this.

He recalled that this week was short, since the holiday June 12 fell on Friday, and Thursday was not only the last, but also a shortened working day.

“Now, in accordance with the previously approved production calendar, we do not have any non-working holidays until November 4, so there will be full-fledged working weeks,” Nilov said.

As follows from the production calendar, Russians have a total of 20 full working weeks until the next holiday. National Unity Day, November 4, falls on a Wednesday in 2026 and will be one non-working day in the middle of the five-day period.

Nilov recalled that the authorities annually approve the production calendar. “And this year the government will approve the production calendar for the next year, 2027,” the deputy said.
