In the Republic of Tatarstan (the aggressor country of the Russian Federation), restrictions on the sale of fuel were introduced at certain gas stations. The head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov announced this on June 13, as quoted by Inkazan.
According to him, the restrictions were introduced against the backdrop of queues and increased demand.
The decision was made after a working trip to Nizhnekamsk, which had previously been attacked by drones. Minnikhanov chaired a meeting of the headquarters to ensure sustainable operation of the fuel and energy complex, where they reported on the situation at the gas station.
According to the authorities, to prevent “artificial excitement” and stabilize the situation at some gas stations, limits on fuel supply have been introduced, and technical measures are being taken to normalize the operation of the network.
As Inkazan reported, in Tatarstan, the region where the second largest oil field in Russia is located, in particular at Tatneft gas stations in Almetyevsk, starting from June 12, they sell no more than 20 liters of gasoline per car.
