The first trailer for the new movie about Mark Zuckerberg, which follows the hit movie “The Social Network”

Mark Zuckerberg is back in the spotlight. Sixteen years after “The Social Network”, director David Fincher proposes a new film dedicated to the birth of Facebook, so that Zuckerberg is once again interpreted, in the continuation of the first film.
The new production is called “The Social Reckoning.”
After the actor Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Zuckerberg is played this time by Jeremy Strong, known for his role in the series “Succession” and recently seen in “Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere”.
The first trailer of the new production was revealed on Wednesday.
This sequel to “The Social Network” also stars Mikey Madison as whistleblower and former Facebook engineer Frances Haugen. This will be her first role since winning the Oscar for best actress last year, with the role in “Anora”, writes News.ro.
Directed and written by Aaron Sorkin, the author of the Oscar-winning screenplay of the movie “The Social Network”, the movie “The Social Reckoning” will be dedicated this time to “Facebook Files”.
In this series of articles published by The Wall Street Journal in 2021, journalist Jeff Horwitz highlighted, among other things, Facebook's role in spreading false information and the social network's shortcomings in moderating hateful content.
“There is no person whose life has not been influenced by the Facebook algorithm, and this influence has shaped everything. So, the time has come to talk more about this topic,” explained Aaron Sorkin in April of last year, during CinemaCon, the annual congress of cinema operators in Las Vegas.
“The Social Reckoning” will hit North American theaters starting October 9.
