Russia could launch the “Oreshnik” missile within 24 hours. Ukraine warns the population to take shelter in case of alarms

Ukrainian authorities have issued a new warning of a possible Oreshnik ballistic missile attack in the next 24 hours, recommending that the population should not ignore the sirens and seek shelter immediately.

The Air Force of Ukraine has conveyed, through official channels, that there is a high probability that Russia will launch an Oreshnik-type ballistic missile from the Kapustin Yar test range, located in the Astrakhan region, in the next 24 hours, according to focus.
Ukrainian military authorities stressed that the population should take any air danger warning with the utmost seriousness and not ignore the warning signals.
In parallel, the Ukrainian military journalist Andriy Zapliyenko reported on Telegram that there is information regarding training launches of the same type of missile, lasting several hours. According to him, although it is about tests, the risk of unforeseen developments cannot be excluded, which is why the population is urged to be vigilant.
On June 11, at around 23:29, a ballistic alert was issued in Ukraine related to the Astrakhan (Kapustin Yar) area, but it was lifted approximately 20 minutes later, with no confirmed impact reported.
We remind you that on the night of May 24, Russian forces launched an Oreshnik ballistic missile over Ukrainian territory, according to the Air Force of Ukraine.
Following the attack, a garage cooperative was engulfed in fire, and an enterprise in the area was allegedly damaged.
Ukrainian media also reported that President Volodymyr Zelensky mentioned in a letter to US President Donald Trump that Russia had used two Oreshnik missiles during an attack on May 24 — one hitting the Kiev region and the other falling on occupied territory in the Donetsk region.
